Matthew Orr is a multi-talented Hong Kong professional footballer. His journey in football began at a young age when he joined Kitchee’s academy at 11 years old and later enrolled into IMG Academy to further his football education. In 2019, he took the first step in his professional football career by signing with Kitchee and later joined China League One club Guangxi Pingguo Haliao and now with Chinese Super League club Shenzhen Peng City FC. Matt’s talent and hard work have also earned him a place in the Hong Kong national football team, where he made his international debut against Iran in June 2021, scoring his first goal for Hong Kong. Matt together with the Hong Kong football team have made history and achieved their best result by finishing fourth at the Asian Games in Hangzhou 2023. Orr was named in Hong Kong’s squad to the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. Matt’s achievements are not limited to football, as he has also made waves in the fashion world. He has been featured in several major magazine publications including Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Elle Men, #Legend and MR. Matt has worked with prominent brands such as Louis Vuitton, Nike, Tod’s, Hublot, Cartier, Calvin Klein, among others. In addition to his impressive football career and modelling pursuits, it’s worth noting that Matt is also a skilled golfer.
