AYLA is a social media sensation, model and cover-star.  She is the eldest daughter of renowned Hong Kong actress Chingmy Yau and Sham Kar Wai, the founder of Hong Kong-based fashion company I.T.  Taking a gap year from her studies in University of British Columbia, AYLA has been active in modelling for magazines and brands.  She has been featured on the cover of Vogue Hong Kong together with Will Smith and Jude Law’s daughters - Willow Smith and Iris Law in 2022 for the magazine’s “Youthquake” feature, and have graced the covers of esteemed publications such Harper’s Bazaar Hong Kong, Elle Hong Kong, Cosmopolitan Hong Kong, Marie Claire Hong Kong, Madame Figaro, Hashtag Legend, and Prestige Hong Kong & Taiwan, Tatler China, Schon China, Le Figaro Lifestyle China and more in both Hong Kong SAR and in Mainland China.  AYLA is a friend of OMEGA, Chaumet and Roger Vivier, and has starred in numerous brand campaigns, collaborating with renowned brands like with Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Miu Miu, La Prairie, Chanel Beauty and Estee Lauder, among others.  In 2019, AYLA made her runway debut at London Fashion Week, walking for the brand Izzue. Her remarkable achievements in the fashion world have garnered her multiple accolades, including Tatler Asia’s Most Stylish Award 2022 and Prestige’s 40 Under 40 Award 2023.  Beyond her success in the fashion world, Ayla’s passion for drawing and writing, as well as her life mission to spread love have led to the publication of her first book, “The Head to Toe Guide to Being Happy” in 2023.
